Description
Date Code January of 70 – 2899879-P – TP-HPEXHMAN/JAN70
This listing features a set of high-performance exhaust manifolds with a January 1970 date code, correct for:
1970–1971 Mopar B-Body and E-Body 383 & 440 HP Cars
Casting Numbers:
Right (Passenger) Side: 2899879
Left (Driver) Side: 2951865
These manifolds are officially licensed by Mopar and include all correct factory markings.
Key Features:
Heat riser valve assembly installed and ready to bolt on
Offered in three different date codes as well as an undated version (accurate for certain original applications)
Limited quantity of right-side manifolds currently in stock
Compatible with other B & E-Body models when paired with proper matching exhaust pipes
Why It Matters:
Original manifolds are often missing, cracked, rusted, pitted, or replaced with aftermarket headers — a common mod in the muscle car era. This is a high-visibility part under the hood that should look authentic and correct.
Fits the following classic Mopar muscle cars (1970–1971):
Plymouth Cuda
Dodge Challenger
Plymouth Road Runner
Plymouth GTX
Dodge Charger
Dodge Coronet R/T
Dodge Super Bee
Plymouth Superbird
What You Should Expect From A Standard Kit
What You Should Expect From A Standard Kit
All of our exhaust systems are fabricated to Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) specifications, directly reflecting the standards used in the factories where your classic car was built.
Please note that our pipes may exhibit minor imperfections due to the fabrication process, and they are intended for standard local car show quality.
All of our tubing is conventionally bent using a compression bending method, similar to factory specifications. We do not utilize the mandrel bending process in our fabrication. We always recommend professional installation of your exhaust system as minor adjustments to the pipes may be necessary, to ensure proper fitment.
Our systems are designed for the general consumer and weekend enthusiasts. However, if your vehicle is a numbers-matching, High End show-quality car and or date-coded mufflers, we advise against purchasing this system, as it may not meet your specific requirements.
